She came to West Texas A&M University as a graduate student, where she earned her master’s in sport and exercise sciences in 2011, while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. In addition to working with WTAMU sports, Heather has also assisted with the Amarillo Venom, and area high schools. Teaching and Related Service Heather teaches in the Sport and Exercise Science and Athletic Training departments where her courses include personal fitness concepts and athletic training clinical. Research and Creative Activity Heather is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA), Southwest Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA), and Texas State Athletic Trainer’s Association (TSATA). Personal Sketch Heather lives in Amarillo. She enjoys family time and she loves having a nephew and niece to spoil. She enjoys running, sports, hiking, spending time with her German shepherd and her horses. |
