Professional Profile

Chris joined the Athletic Training Education Program in the fall of 2008 as the clinical coordinator.  Chris received his bachelors of science degree from West Texas A&M University in 2003.  He then proceeded to Texas State University where he received his masters of education degree.  He worked at Stephen F. Austin State University prior to returning to West Texas A&M University.

Teaching and Related Service

Chris teaches in the Athletic Training Education Program where his courses include evaluation, treatment and recognition of injuries and clinical experience courses.    Chris also serves as the assistant athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team at West Texas A&M University.  Chris is a member of both the state and national organizations for athletic training.
