West Texas A&M University intends to beat any offer from another four-year college or university in United States. Here's how the offer works.
WT strives to offer a better net cost of enrollment, which may or may not beat scholarship offers from other institutions.
Offer Steps
Step 1
Apply and be admitted to WT.
If you have already applied and been admitted to WT for Summer 1, Summer 2, or Fall 2024, move to the next step.
Step 2
Submit FAFSA to WT.
The Federal School code for WTAMU is 003665.
International students do not need to submit FAFSA.
Step 3
Complete the WT scholarship application.

Step 4
Email a copy of your acceptance letter and award letter from another institution.
You will receive an email or call from our Education Credit Union Buff $mart Office reviewing your better offer from WT.

Do international students qualify if they have an offer from another institution in the United States?
Yes.
Can I complete the steps above more than once if I receive a better offer from another institution?
Yes.
When is it too late to complete the steps above?
August 1, 2024.
If I already have an offer from WT, can I complete the steps above with an offer from another institution?
Yes.
If I have withdrawn my application, can I have my Summer 1, 2 or Fall application reopened and submit an offer from another institution?
Yes. Request by email to admissions@wtamu.edu to have your application reopened and complete the four steps above.
Is the Beat Any Offer deal only good for the first semester or for my time at WT?
The offer is honored through completion of the degree given:
- Undergraduate students maintain full-time enrollment (12 hours in the Fall and Spring semesters or 24 hours per academic year) and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Graduate students maintain full-time enrollment (9 hours in the Fall and Spring semesters or 18 hours per academic year) in an accepted graduate degree program. (Certification programs do not qualify.)
