I'm at the east side of camp. Here's my mind's eye view of Jarrett Hall, where the boys are living this week.

Heading west.

Turning south and I see Buff Hall, where the visiting camp faculty are living.

Looking southeast is the cafeteria/dining hall.

They're serving breakfast. Here are the hot items.

Eggs, hash browns, sausage.

Bisquits and gravy.

Toppings: cheese, jalapenos, salsa.

Milks for ...

...cereals.

Donuts.

Getting pizzas ready for lunch.

...lots of pizzas.

A waffle machine.

At lunch, there is a salad station with vegetables and fruits.

Ice cream cups.

Hot drinks.

Soda machines.

Campers.

Mr. Lefevre rehearses the high school honor band. We're doing first period classes in the Fine Arts Complex.

There are afternoon intramurals with the band competing against one another. The winning high school and the winning junior high school gets a pizza party on Friday evening.

It's a pretty tight race at this moment.

It's 1:45 pm again. (It's the first time it's 1:45 pm today!) Let's look at some of the activities. Here's the high school double reed ensemble with Dr. Connor Bell.

Next door is the junior high double reed ensemble with Dr. Kathleen Bell.

Mr. Mears has the high school percussion ensemble 3 in the main large ensemble rehearsal hall.

Deja vu junior high school double reed ensemble, as if once was not enough. .

Dr. Shanks leads the high school trombone ensemble.

Mr. Yett conducts the high school saxophone ensemble.

And here's the bassoon reed making sweat shop trying to balance the U.S. GDP in the world marketplace.

Here is the 3 pm high school assembly.

Today's contest to earn points for their band, was to pop opponent's balloons. Each player, two from each band, had two balloons to each ankle. (Fortunately, this was not a three-legged sack race.)

There are some optional classes at 4:30 when there are also intramurals. Here is Mr. Storey and jazz band 1.

Another class is the introduction to music therapy lead by Dr. Evans.

Jazz band 2 is conducted by Mr. Hinds.

And Dr. Barger conducts jazz band 3.

The 7 pm assembly featured performances by the WTAMU faculty brass quintet and Mr. John Tegmeyer, who is this year's guest artist at camp. Members of the qwuintet are Mr. David Lough, Dr. Guili Mandredit, Dr. Jeremy Lewis, Dr. John Shanks, and Dr. William Takacs.

Dr. Teweleit tried to sub for Mr. Tegmeyer. Mr. Brian Piper is the pianist.
