The West Texas A&M University Student Government conducts all campus elections in compliance with the Election Code and WTAMU Code of Student Life. There are four regular elections each academic year and special elections may be called for referendums or other business.
- Fall Elections - election of Freshmen and Graduate members of Student Senate
- Homecoming Elections - election of Homecoming King and Queen
- All-University Formal Elections - election of Formal King, Queen, Prince and Princess
- Spring Elections - election of Student Body Officers and Student Senators for the coming year
Each campus election covers a two-day voting period. Votes are cast on any computer a student has access to "myBuffPortal". For convenience students may vote at computer kiosks in the Jack B. Kelley Student Center, Old Main, Virgil Henson Activities Center, Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts Complex, Agriculture and Nursing Sciences Building, the Cafeteria or in the Hastings Electronic Learning Center. Check the University Calendar for dates of upcoming elections.
