Dr. Meredith joined the College of Business in 2011. He received a B.A. in Economics/Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Georgia in 2011. He was appointed the Dana Professor of Business in 2015.
Dr. Meredith teaches microeconomic theory, health economics, international economics, and industrial organization. He is a member of the American Society of Health Economists and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.
Dr. Meredith’s research focuses on applied microeconomics. He is particularly interested in health economics, labor economics, industrial organization, international economics, and the economics of education.
Dr. Meredith lives in Amarillo with his wife Amy. He is an avid reader of the Wall Street Journal and enjoys playing basketball, indoor soccer, and several other sports. He also enjoys cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Georgia Bulldogs football teams.
