She earned a B.S. in animal science at California Polytechnic State University, a B.S. and MBA in accounting at California State University, San Bernardino and a Ph.D. in accountancy at the University of Mississippi. Prior to earning her Ph.D., Dr. Kreissl worked for a number of years in the industry. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Kreissl teaches Managerial, Cost and Accounting Ethics. Dr. Kreissl is the author and co-author of several publications. Dr. Kreissl is a member of several organizations, including the American Accounting Association and the Institute of Management Accountants. Research and Creative Activity Dr. Kreissl's research interests include studying the behavioral effects of accounting decisions, cost issues, environmental issues and educational issues. Personal Sketch Dr. Kreissl enjoys horseback riding and horse showing (lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association), kayaking in the Pacific Northwest, walking, gardening, reading, playing with her cat and especially visiting with and rooting for her students at WTAMU. |
