Phone: 806-651-2621 Professional Profile Dr. Riney joined the Department of Education and Social Sciences in 2002. He completed his Ph.D. in education at the University of Arizona. His M.Ed. in education and B.S. in English education also were earned at the University of Arizona. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Riney currently teaches two undergraduate courses, Foundations of Education and Teaching in Secondary Schools and one graduate course, Foundations/Psychological Principles of Education.
He is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the Southwest Educational Research Association.
Research and Creative Activity Dr. Riney has research interests in teacher education, teacher and student cognition and educational policy. Personal Sketch Dr. Riney lives in Amarillo, Texas and enjoys reading, traveling and hiking. |
