WTAMU’s Topliff Named NARRU President Elect
CANYON, Texas—Dr. Don Topliff, dean of the College of Agriculture, Science and Engineering at West Texas A&M University, has been elected president elect of the Non-Land-Grant Agriculture and Renewable Resources Universities Association (NARRU).
NARRU represents 13 universities across the United States that have agriculture and renewable resources programs. Eleven of those universities are in the state of Texas and represent 65 percent of the graduates with agriculture and renewa
ble resources degrees. The organization is associated with the academic programs section of the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities in Washington, D.C.
“It is an honor to be chosen to represent NARRU as president elect, and I look forward to working with our member universities to represent our needs at the nation’s Capitol,” Topliff said.
Topliff has been a member of the organization for 16 years and has served on the board of directors for the past five years.
