Major in Communication Disorders (Major Code: 240)
The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), in order to certify and provide professional speech and hearing services, requires a master’s degree in communication disorders. WTAMU’s Communication Disorders Program is nationally accredited through ASHA.

Undergraduates wanting to obtain a certification in neuroscience in preparation for research or medically based employment may take an additional 18 hours of neuroscience course work above that required for a Bachelors degree.
