Application Deadlines Applications for the Fall 2016 Term must be received by August 1st. Documents required for admissions must be received no later than August 15th. Summer II applications must be received by July 4th and documents by July 8th.
Apply to West Texas A&M University through the following applications:
Transfer students are students who have\attended a college or university and earned 12 college-level credits. (Note: students, who earned this credit while in high school, should apply using the freshman application. And qualified students considering Destination WT should review that web page's information and use a separate form.)
Graduate students are students who have completed requirements for/received a bachelor's degree, and now seek to pursue a master's degree.
International students are students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States -- any foreign student residing in or planning to study in the United States on any type of visa other than a resident alien card is considered an international student.
Returning students are students who have attended West Texas A&M University in the past. Important: Returning undergraduate students do not need to pay a new application fee or complete a new application--a short form for readmission is available HERE.
Buff Bridge is an alternative admissions program for incoming freshmen by invitation only. Eligible students will be notified by the Office of Admissions.
Notice to prospective students: WTAMU's Campus Security and Fire Safety Report includes a crime report, safety checklists, emergency phone numbers, policy statements, descriptions of emergency campus services, information about sexual assault, stalking, domestic violence, dating violence and the abuse of alcohol and other drugs. A printed copy will be provided upon request from the office of Student Affairs or the University Police Department.
